Flights to and from Brazil :

First Class : 2 pieces, each not to exceed 32kg (70lb) and a maximum dimension of 158cm (62in)
Business Class : 2 pieces, each not to exceed 32kg (70lb) and a maximum dimension of 158cm (62in)
Economy Class : 2 pieces, each not to exceed 32kg (70lb) and a maximum dimension of 158cm (62in)

Flights between Brazil and Argentina :

First Class : 2 pieces, each not to exceed 32kg (70lb) and a maximum dimension of 158cm (62in)
Business Class : 2 pieces, each not to exceed 32kg (70lb) and a maximum dimension of 158cm (62in)
Economy Class : 2 pieces, each not to exceed 23kg (50lb) and a maximum dimension of 158cm (62in)

All other Qatar Airways flights to and from Argentina, Canada, and the USA :

First Class : 2 pieces, each not to exceed 32kg (70lb) and a maximum dimension of 158cm (62in)
Business Class : 2 pieces, each not to exceed 32kg (70lb) and a maximum dimension of 158cm (62in)
Economy Class : 2 pieces, each not to exceed 23kg (50lb) and a maximum dimension of 158cm (62in)

Flights between Doha and Casablanca :

First Class : 60kg (132lb) and a maximum dimension of 300cm (118in)
Business Class : 60kg (132lb) and a maximum dimension of 300cm (118in)
Economy Class : 45kg (99lb) and a maximum dimension of 300cm (118in)

Flights from Africa :

First Class : 65kg (143lb) and a maximum dimension of 300cm (118in)
Business Class : 65kg (143lb) and a maximum dimension of 300cm (118in)
Economy Class : 45kg (99lb) and a maximum dimension of 300cm (118in)

Flights to and from all other destinations :

First Class : 50kg (110lb) and a maximum dimension of 300 cm (118in)
Business Class : 40kg (88lb) and a maximum dimension of 300 cm (118in)
Economy Class : 30kg (66lb) and a maximum dimension of 300 cm (118in)

There is a provision for free checked in baggage allowance of 40 and 30 kgs respectively for Executive and Economy Class of travel on Gulf & Middle East sectors:

For Air India Routes :


India to Dammam & Dammam to India,

Bahrain to India &  India to Bahrain,

Kuwait to India &  India to Kuwait,

Dubai to India & India to Dubai,

Sharjah to India & India to Sharjah,

Muscat to India & India to Muscat,

Abu dhabi to India & India to Abu Dhabi.


For Riyadh to India and Jeddah to India, free checked in baggage allowance is 60, 50 and 40 kgs for First Class, Executive and Economy class respectively whereas for return journeys on these sectors, the free baggage allowance is 50, 40 and 30 kgs respectively for the three classes of travel.
